A loss prevention officer at Wal-Mart on Bert Kouns Industrial Loop was arrested for stealing over $500 in store merchandise, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Joshua Faulk was responsible for catching and reporting shoplifters, but he began stealing from the store himself. During the past three months Faulk stole over $500 worth of merchandise, including DVDs, CDs, clothing, stereo equipment, video games, gaming equipment, food and drinks.

Caddo Sheriff’s Detective Bobby Herring investigated the case and arrested Faulk for theft. He was booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
