Caddo Sheriff’s detectives have arrested a Shreveport man for solicitation of murder, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Christopher Martin Robinson, 51, was transported to the Caddo Correctional Center from Oakdale Federal Prison on Tuesday. He was booked into CCC on a warrant charging him with one count of solicitation of murder. He was previously being held at Oakdale on narcotics and weapons charges.

Sheriff’s Detectives Terry Richardson and Andy Scoggins investigated the recent case and said Robinson offered money to at least two people to kill a person he believed was involved in a home-invasion robbery at Robinson’s house in the 1100 block of Oak Grove Lane on October 15, 2009.  During that robbery, Robinson shot and wounded one of the four intruders. All four intruders were ultimately arrested by the Caddo Sheriff’s Office on related charges.

No bond has been set for Robinson on the charge of soliciting a murder.
