The Caddo and Bossier Parish sheriff’s offices along with the United States Marshals Service, Bossier Parish Emergency Medical Services and other agencies will conduct a public auction where vehicles and equipment will be sold to the highest bidder.
Retired patrol vehicles, administrative vehicles, SUVs, boat motors, ambulances, RVs, and other assets will be sold at the Lawler Auction Facility located at 7781 Highway 1 North in Shreveport beginning at 10 a.m. this Saturday, November 5. The Shreve Memorial Library will auction retired office equipment as well.
The United States Marshal's Service will auction off a 2008 Harley Davidson FXSTC motorcycle that was ordered seized by the United States District Court after a defendant failed to make restitution ordered in a criminal case.
David Doiron, project manager for Lawler Auction Company, said, “We currently have about a hundred vehicles that will be auctioned off on Saturday. There’s something for just about everyone in this auction.”
The auction is open to the public and bidders will be allowed to preview and inspect the items this Friday from 1-5 p.m. at the Lawler Auction Facility. Citizens can also get more information by going online to view photos, lists, and terms at www.lawlerauction.com, or by calling 929-7003.
