The April 2005 homicide of Tosha Lampkin will be featured on the ID Channel program “See No Evil,” airing at 9 p.m. Wednesday, May 10.

Producers were in Shreveport in February where they spent several days touring the area and interviewing Caddo Sheriff’s detectives who investigated the case.

Lampkin was abducted at gunpoint from a Bossier City motel by suspects Brandon Davis and Dwight Bacon, both of Shreveport. The 29-year-old woman was in town from Houston visiting family when she left her motel room to purchase food. Surveillance video from the motel captured her car returning to the motel followed by the suspects’ vehicle. Soon after, both the victim’s and suspects’ cars were seen leaving again.

Lampkin’s body was later found in the trunk of her burned out rental car on Kuhn Road in Caddo Parish on April 23, 2005. Davis and Bacon were both convicted of first-degree murder and are currently serving life sentences in a state prison.

Discovery ID describes See No Evil as a program that “reveals how the deadliest crimes are solved by the only witnesses that never lie - and where murderers have no place to hide: surveillance cameras.”

The 60-minute program will include interviews with Detective Sgt. Terry Richardson, former Detective and current Patrol Cpl. Malcolm Laing, and retired Detective Lt. Bill Rehak, all of whom investigated Lampkin’s murder for the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office.
