Two suspects wanted in connection with the burglary and beating of two men in south Caddo Parish was arrested Thursday in Texas.

Crystal Wilt, 30, also known as Crystal Shearer, and Jeremy David Strickland, 28, also known as Jeremy Stevens, were located and taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal's Fugitive Task Force in the Dallas, Texas area. Both are in the Denton County jail on Caddo Parish warrants for aggravated burglary.

Task Force agents in the Shreveport area were assisting Caddo Sheriff's detectives in searching for the two when information was received they had left Louisiana and were possibly headed for Dallas.

Wilt and Strickland were wanted in connection with the burglary and beating of two men in the 100 block of Barlow Avenue on Saturday night. The men were robbed and beaten by two male suspects after they opened their front door to Wilt around midnight.

The case is still under investigation. Detectives are searching for the third suspect who participated in beating and robbing the victims.
