Mother arrested for illegal drug use in presence of minor child

A Keithville mother was arrested for using illegal narcotics in the presence of her 2-year-old son, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Caddo Sheriff’s Youth Service’s detectives began an investigation into illegal drug use after receiving a report from the DCFS (Department of Children and Family.) Bobbi M. Terral of the 4000 block of Tryall Street in Keithville and her 2 year old son completed drug tests as part of a DCFS investigation.  

According to Sheriff’s Detective Jared Marshall, the results of the tests revealed both Terral and her 2 year old son were positive for Amphetamine, Methamphetamine, and Marijuana.  Further investigation by Detective Marshall led to the arrest of Bobbi M. Terral for illegal use of CDC in the presence of persons under the age of 17. The child was taken into custody the by DCFS.
