Caddo Sheriff’s patrol deputies responded to a fatal crash on Highway 2 in north Caddo Parish Thursday night.

Lorry Ann Ford, 53, of Plain Dealing, was traveling eastbound near Caldwell-Briggs Road when her she rounded a curve and lost control of her vehicle. The car rolled several times before coming to a stop. Ford was not wearing a seatbelt, said Sgt. Mike Christian.

Neighbors and passers-by called 911 and alerted authorities to the crash. It was reported just after 7:30 p.m.

The crash remains under investigation. An autopsy is expected to be performed, according to the coroner.
