Caddo Sheriff's Office to graduate 45th Academy class

Graduation exercises for the 45th basic training class of the Caddo Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy will take place at 4 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, at Calvary Baptist Church, 9333 Linwood Avenue.  Sheriff Steve Prator will be the guest speaker.

Eight agencies will be represented when graduates take the oath of office, receive their badges, and participate in a special ceremony where family and friends assist them with pinning on their badges for the first time.

Class participants received 535 hours or more of peace officer training in areas including law, patrol activities, traffic services, report writing, investigations, firearms, first aid, and criminal justice.

Graduates are: Sharnell Bennett, Daniel Clayton, Chase Davidson, Denver Dixon, Taylor Dunn, Luke Randall, DeCarlos Washington, and Melissa Wells, Caddo Sheriff’s Office; Shelby Scudder, Desoto Sheriff’s Office; Timothy DuVall, Blanchard Police Department; Julian Dilorenzo, Camp Minden Military Police; Michael Dickey, Cotton Valley Police Department; Chase Williamson, Homer Police Department; Demitri Allen Wilson, LSUHSC University Police; and Ashley Ellis and Mark Trenor, Vivian Police Department.
