MARTIN, SANDRA
DOB: 10/11/1960
Race: W   Sex: F
Height: 5.09   Weight: 230

A Shreveport woman was arrested for posing as a licensed practical nurse at a local nursing home facility, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Sandra Jeannett Martin, 59, was arrested on a warrant obtained by Caddo Sheriff's Detective Mike King. Martin was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for forgery and making false statements concerning employment in a nursing or health care facility. She was also charged with violating the law on professions and occupations.

King said Martin used the identity of another Sandra Martin who is a LPN to convince her place of employment that she was licensed as a nurse. She was originally hired as a social worker.

Martin worked over 1,000 hours while posing as a LPN and fraudulently treated over 100 patients issuing medication, completing numerous medical documents, and being responsible for patient care.

Martin was arrested at her residence today by Caddo Sheriff's Cpl. Grady Hardman.
