Caddo Parish Patrol deputies are currently investigating a vehicle crash that resulted in the death of two individuals the morning of September 27, as reported by Sheriff Henry Whitehorn, Sr.

The crash occurred just before 7:00 am on LA Highway 71, just south of the Interstate 49 exchange. Deputies stated that a small four-door Sedan traveling northbound crossed the center lane and collided with a two-door Sedan traveling south on LA Hwy 71. 
Both drivers of the vehicles were pronounced deceased at the scene by Caddo Fire District 7. 

The cause of the accident is still under investigation..
