Caddo sheriff’s investigators are seeking information in connection with a string of car break-ins, said Sheriff Steve Prator.
The Sheriff’s Office has received reports of four vehicle burglaries in the south Shreveport area since mid-October. Two occurred on Oct. 18 on Kay Lane off Youree Drive, and two occurred on Oct. 22 on Paxton Road off St. Vincent. There were also two attempted car burglaries on Paxton Road.
An investigation by Det. Terry Richardson uncovered another six vehicles that were broken into but not reported to authorities. Richardson said it’s possible that they are connected to the same offenders.
All of the break-ins occurred during regular business hours in employee parking lots. The suspects are two black males who are targeting CD/DVD players with graphics screens and vehicles with TV monitors.
The suspects’ vehicle was captured on video as they committed the two vehicle burglaries and two attempted vehicle burglaries on Oct. 22. The vehicle appears to be a late model Nissan Rogue or Nissan Murano. (See photo)
Anyone with information about the suspects is urged to contact Det. Richardson at the Caddo Sheriff’s Office at 675-2170.
