Caddo sheriff’s detectives are asking for assistance in locating a man wanted for unauthorized entry of a critical infrastructure. Around 10 p.m. on March 14, Darien Whitehurst was observed entering Genesis Energy (trucking terminal) at 2650 Francis Bickham Blvd. at the Port of Shreveport. He entered through an employee entrance along with an unidentified female. A warrant was obtained on March 21 charging Whitehurst with unauthorized entry of a critical infrastructure. Detectives say Whitehurst is a former employee of the company. He is a 37-year-old black male, 6’2, 240 lbs. He is believed to be driving a 2011 black Chevy Avalanche with Louisiana tags B732571. He might also be driving a black Chevy Suburban. Whitehurst resides in the 300 block of Holcombe Drive in Shreveport. Anyone with information regarding his location is asked to contact Detective Donnie Laney at 675-2170.
