  • Each step of our selection process is vital in helping us select dedicated individuals to serve the residents of Caddo Parish. Honesty plays a critical factor during the processing period and after one becomes a deputy. Applicants who are disqualified will be informed of this decision and notified of future application dates, if eligible.
  • Applicants successfully completing our selection process are sent to the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office 2 week Corrections Academy. A Corrections Deputy is also afforded an ongoing opportunity to demonstrate their willingness to further their careers in Law Enforcement by successfully passing a more strenuous criteria for entry into the Peace Officer Standards of Training (P.O.S.T) certified academy.
