Effective September 15, 2025, all inmate mail should be sent to the following address, using the existing jail facility mail rules.

Effective September 18, 2025, all personal mail for inmates addressed directly to the Caddo Parish Correctional Center will be returned to the sender.

• Checks and money orders can still be mailed to the jail for inmates.
• Legal mail will still be mailed directly to the jail.
• Parcel packages will not be accepted.

All inmates' correspondence must be addressed as below:

The following items will not be received through the mail at CCC:

• Checks or cash.
• Polaroid pictures.
• Tobacco products.
• Loose stamps.
• Nude, partially nude, violent or gang related pictures.
• Wooden or metal items, plastic items, such as phone cards.
• Jewelry - handmade, store purchased or otherwise.
• Cards with ribbons, musical cards, and no plastic on greeting cards.
• No greeting cards of any kind will be allowed.
• Envelopes or packages with plastic bubbles.
• Stickers.
• No books of any kind..
• Oversized, cardboard, or handmade glued, layered cards.
• No express mail or priority mail (large cardboard envelopes).
• No envelopes of any kind, including postage paid.
• No blank sheets of paper.
• No puzzle pages.
• Effective September 14, 2020, books and magazine subscriptions will no longer be accepted at CCC. It will be the responsibility of the subscriber to cancel any magazine subscriptions. Newspaper subscriptions will not be affected by this change.

Items that are allowed include:

• Money Orders.
• Newspapers by subscription or publisher only.
• Only five copied pages from books, internet systems, etc., may be received at one time

***Note - All incoming non-legal mail and pictures are scanned to the inmate's account so they can read the mail and view the pictures. All non-legal mail and pictures are destroyed after 30 days.
