The CPSO Warrants Division is responsible for maintaining and serving felony and misdemeanor warrants at residences, businesses, and other locations. The division conducts detailed investigative research to locate and apprehend offenders with active warrants. Additionally, they conduct extraditions of both low and high-risk prisoners throughout Louisiana and the United States, after extradition papers are satisfied. The deputies work in potentially high-risk environments, use surveillance measures, and are employed to complete other law enforcement duties.
