Caddo Sheriff's detectives say it appears that a man who robbed a credit union here on Friday also robbed a bank in Alabama over the weekend.

While wearing the same "Sleep is for the Rich" t-shirt, the man entered the Wells Fargo bank at University and Airport boulevards in West Mobile just before noon on Saturday. He demanded money from the teller, then left in an unknown direction. Mobile authorities say he possibly was traveling in a late-model red or maroon Dodge Durango with a red grill and tinted windows.

The Mobile robber's physical description was very similar to that of a man who robbed the Wesla Federal Credit Union in Caddo Parish on Friday. In that case, the suspect was described as a black male, about 5'6, with a stocky build. He was wearing a Louisiana Tech Bulldogs baseball cap, dark shorts, and blue and white tennis shoes.

In the Mobile robbery, the robber wore a different hat and shorts, but the same t-shirt.

Anyone with information regarding this suspect is urged to contact Detective Terry Richardson with the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office at 675-2170 or Crime Stoppers at 673-7373.
