Caddo Parish Sheriff’s deputies will conduct an occupant protection checkpoint in north Caddo Parish Saturday, June 7, from 9 a.m. until noon.

The checkpoint is part of the national "Click It or Ticket" initiative, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator. Deputies will be checking vehicles to ensure compliance with seat belt and child restraint laws.

The checkpoint is paid for with grant funds provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration through the Louisiana Highway Safety Commission.
