A Greenwood man is recovering at a local hospital after being shot during a weekend residential burglary.

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator said Michael Blow, 52, was shot by two intruders after he returned home with his wife just after midnight Saturday morning. The couple lives in the 7600 block of Waterwood Drive in Greenwood.

Detectives believe a struggle ensued between the intruders and Blow, during which Blow suffered shotgun wounds to the back and thigh. Blow was later transported to LSU Health Sciences Center where he is currently being cared for. His wife was not injured.
