On May 9, 2014, the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force, with the assistance from task forces with the DEA, ATF and U.S. Marshal wrapped up an investigation named “Operation May Day.”

The week long operation resulted in the execution of 7 search warrants, 3 follow-up investigations, 15 felony arrests, and 6 misdemeanor arrests. Agents also seized illegal narcotics with a street value of $148,625.00, 10 firearms and $17,103.00 in cash.

On May 2, 2014, agents conducted a follow-up investigation at 2247 Soda Fountain St, Shreveport, LA. During the investigation, agents recovered approximately 5.9 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 11.3 grams of suspected marijuana, 57 dosage units of Diazepam, 1 handgun and 2 shotguns. During the investigation agents recovered approximately 23 grams of suspected methamphetamine, approximately 40 grams of suspected marijuana, 29 dosage units of Dextroamphetamine, 20 dosage units of Oxycodone, 4 dosage units of Hydrocodone, 3 handguns, 1 rifle and 2 shotguns. The following subjects were arrested:
