Members of the U.S. Marshal's Task Force, acting on a tip from the Caddo Sheriff's Office, arrested Michael Thain Schuler in Phoenix, Arizona, on Friday.

Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator said Schuler was arrested on a Caddo Sheriff's warrant during a traffic stop. Schuler was taken to the Maricopa County Jail where he remains tonight pending extradition to Caddo.

Original release on 3-25-15 follows:

The Caddo Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help in locating Michael Thain Schuler, who’s wanted for illegal possession of stolen things, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Caddo detectives, working with the Webster Sheriff’s Office, recovered $31,660 in stolen property from a residence on Honeycreek Lane in February. The property was stolen in Webster and stored in Caddo Parish, Prator said. The recovered items included a 2003 Harley Davidson, shop tools, and motorcycle parts.

Detectives identified Schuler as a suspect in the case and obtained a warrant for his arrest on two counts of illegal possession of stolen things. Additional charges are pending in Webster.

Schuler, also known as Tiny, is a white male, 6’2, 300 lbs., with red/auburn hair and blue eyes. He is 44 years old. His last known address was on Crouch Dam Road in northern Caddo Parish.

Anyone with information about his location is asked to contact Det. Matt Purgerson with the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office at 675-2170 or 681-0700.
