A search warrant executed on Alma Street on Tuesday resulted in one arrest and the recovery of drugs and a weapon, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Police Chief Willie Shaw.

The warrant was executed at 1651 Alma by agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotic Unit and the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office SRT.

During the search, agents recovered 39 grams of powder cocaine, 134 grams of marijuana, 48 dosage units of Methylenedioxymethamphetamine (Ecstasy), 32 dosage units of Clonazepam, and a handgun with an obliterated serial number.

Anthony Leon Brown, 35, of the same address, was arrested on charges including Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I Marijuana, Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule II Cocaine, Possession with Intent to Distribute Schedule I MDMA, felon in possession of a firearm, and simple escape for trying to flee from agents.

Brown was booked into the Shreveport City Jail.
