The Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office Civil Live Scan system is temporarily down due to technical difficulties with the Louisiana State Police data center, according to Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

If you use the Civil Live Scan system and are able to log in, you should still be able to set appointments for your employees but the Caddo Sheriff's Office is unable to process them at this time. Also, CPSO is unable to process applicants for parish Concealed Handgun Permits until further notice.

At this time, the Sheriff's Office does not have information on when services will be restored. If you use the Civil Live Scan system or plan on applying for or renewing a parish Concealed Handgun Permit, please call  ahead at 681-0647 for an update.
