Kerr now faces charges in Caddo for inappropriate conduct with juveniles

A Bossier City man now faces charges in Bossier and Caddo parishes for inappropriate sexual activity with juveniles, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Detective Jared Marshall obtained a warrant on Wednesday charging Reid Christopher Kerr, 26, of the 200 block of Melissa Lane in Bossier City, with two counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and one count of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile.

Kerr is currently being held in Bossier Parish on similar charges. A fugitive hold has been placed on Kerr at the Bossier Maximum Security Facility until he is returned to Caddo to face charges here.

In Caddo, Kerr is accused of having a sexual encounter with a 16 -year-old girl and exchanging sexually inappropriate messages with other juvenile females.

Reid worked as a substitute teacher at several schools in Bossier and worked as an umpire for school athletics.

The Caddo Sheriff’s Office believes there may be multiple victims who have either not come forward or have yet to be identified. If anyone has any information on other victims, please contact the Caddo Sheriff’s Office at 675-2170 or Detective Marshall at 681-0700.
