Cash rewards offered to public for information

The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help for any information in two separate homicide investigations.

On November 20, 2015, just after 9:30 p.m., deputies received a call from a citizen who said they heard an explosion. When the citizen went to investigate they discovered a burning Impala at Walden Ferry Road and Elysian Fields in Greenwood. A body found Inside the vehicle was later identified as Darrien Jiles, 21, of the 4000 block of Joplin Street in Shreveport.

On January 5, 2016, Caddo deputies, along with Vivian officers, responded to the 200 block of South Pecan around 8 p.m. One man had been shot in the torso while inside his residence. The victim, identified as 43-year-old J.D. Hill, was taken by ambulance to North Caddo Hospital, where he later died.

Caddo Sheriff’s detectives are hopeful someone will come forward with information that can lead to the identification of the suspects in these murders. Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of $1,000.00 dollars for information leading to the arrest of the suspect or suspects in these crimes.
