Forward Assist Center to open in Oil City

A Forward Assistance Center (FAC) will be set up on Tuesday, March 29, at the Oil City United Pentecostal Church gymnasium at 701 Hwy. 1 in Oil City. It will be open from 4-8 p.m, according to Caddo Homeland Security Director/Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

The FAC is a ‘one-stop-shop’ providing an opportunity for those affected by the flood to meet with representatives from various non-profit agencies. Anyone in the area who was impacted by flooding is encouraged to attend.

Agencies that will be represented include the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, LA Baptist Disaster Relief, the American Red Cross, Salvation Army, and the Food Bank of Northwest Louisiana.
