             Caddo Sheriff’s detectives are investigating more than 17 car burglaries that occurred in Mooringsport during the early morning hours on Friday, May 6, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

             Three people with flashlights were caught on video exiting what appeared to be a silver Chrysler 300, similar to the one in the attached photo. The suspects entered a vehicle in the 100 block of East Allen Street.  Break-ins also occurred on Weston, Lakeview, Evelyn, Caddo Lease, Francis, Croom, and Hwy. 169, all within a five-mile area. All of the vehicles were unlocked.

             Taken in the burglaries were guns, electronics, cell phones, keys, a backpack, a checkbook, and other personal items.
