The Caddo Sheriff’s online tax sale began today and will continue through Thursday, said Sheriff Steve Prator.  About 1500 properties – land, commercial, and residential – are listed for sale.

You can view the auction on the Caddo Sheriff's website at www.caddosheriff.org. Click on the Sheriff’s/Tax Sales button and then the CivicSource auction link. Click the “register” button on CivicSource to sign up as a buyer.

To remove a property from the sale, owners must pay back taxes in person at the Caddo Courthouse at 501 Texas Street. Payment must be made in cash or by cashier’s check or money order.

Computers are available at the Caddo Parish Courthouse for the public to register and participate in the bidding process.  

On-line information includes a list of properties, a plotted map, satellite images of the properties, the amount of delinquent taxes owed, and answers to general questions about the tax sale process.
