The Caddo Sheriff’s Marine Unit has recovered a man’s body from the Red River near the Interstate 20 Bridge, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Witnesses called the Caddo Sheriff’s office around 1:00p.m. this afternoon after seeing what they believed to be a body floating in the river. Deputy Madison Cox, who is assigned to the Marine unit, located the body approximately 20 minutes later, near the Interstate 20 Bridge.

Caddo detectives are on scene and may have learned the identity of the man’s body. No additional information is being released at this time as the investigation is currently ongoing.
