Caddo Sheriff's detectives arrested a man for unauthorized entry of a critical infrastructure and simple criminal property damage.

Travis DeYoung, 20, of the 9000 block of Hilton Drive in Shreveport, turned himself in on a warrant obtained by Detective Andy Scoggins, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

DeYoung is accused of using an AK-47 to shoot an oil storage tank on Highway One in south Caddo Parish. The tank is owned by Questar Productions. Scoggins said an undetermined amount of crude leaked from the tank after it was damaged.

A second suspect, Stephen Brantley, 19, of the 8500 block of Jackson Square in Shreveport, also was charged with unauthorized entry of a critical infrastructure; however, he was not charged with damaging the tank.
