A Keithville man was booked into Caddo Correctional Center on Sunday after a Caddo deputy observed him traveling in excess of 130 miles per hour on a motorcycle.

Joshua Whitaker, 25, was arrested for aggravated flight, speeding, and not having a motorcycle endorsement.

Cpl. Greg Ardoin observed Whitaker traveling westbound on LA 3132 just after 4 p.m. Whitaker was driving 129 miles per hour in a posted 60 mph zone. When Ardoin attempted to stop the speeder, Whitaker sped up and traveled another three to four miles before stopping at the overpass of Lakeshore Drive and I-220.
