Employees of four businesses were cited Thursday night for selling alcohol to minors.

Deputies and officers with the Caddo-Shreveport Street Level Interdiction Unit issued citations for underage alcohol sales at the Magnolia Clubhouse in Rodessa, EZ Mart in Vivian, EZ Mart in Oil City, and the Triangle in Mooringsport. Those cited were Lisa Powell, 44; Jennifer Ramsey, 27; Sheila Cantu, 42; and Elizabeth Free, 38.

Deputies and officers routinely check businesses for underage liquor sales and purchases, but Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator said store owners and teenagers should expect even more operations as high school proms and graduations approach.
