Caddo Sheriff's investigators arrested two people after separate investigations into financial crimes in Shreveport.

Daphanie Sadler, 34, of the 3300 block of Linda in Shreveport, was arrested by Detective Frank Edmondson after she found an access card and used it without permission to make purchases at two grocery stores on Pines Road. The charges totaled nearly $950. Sadler was booked into Caddo Correctional Center for unauthorized use of an access card.

In an unrelated case, Detective Bobby Herring arrested Shamerick Adger, 20, of the 400 block of Abilene in Shreveport, and charged her with felony theft for stealing over $1,800 in business receipts from the Raceway station on Hearne Avenue. Adger was an employee at the station. She, too, was booked into CCC.

Both cases were investigated by the Caddo-Shreveport Financial Crimes Task Force.
