Sheriff Steve Prator and Chief Henry Whitehorn announced that the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics/Vice Unit conducted an “Underage Alcohol Sale” operation to reduce the sales of alcohol to minors in Shreveport and Caddo Parish.Agents made numerous undercover purchases of alcohol throughoutShreveport and Caddo Parish on April 3.After agents made purchases, other agents immediately cited the individuals selling the alcohol.
The operation netted 30 misdemeanor arrests for underage alcohol sales. Six of the 30 received additional charges for not having an ABO card. Below is a list of the businesses that were not compliant with the law and the names of the persons who were cited for selling alcohol to underage persons. Also listed are the businesses that were checked and did comply with the law.
Prator and Whitehorn said the operation targeting underage liquor sales is continuing with more compliance checks planned.
