An argument between drivers over the careless operation of a vehicle landed one man in jail Wednedsay night for aggravated assault.

Brian Lindsey approached 22-year-old Michael D. Brunker at a convenience store on North Market Street and claimed that minutes earlier Brunker had almost run him off the road because of careless driving. Lindsey said that during the confrontation Brunker threatened to kill him and showed a handgun concealed in a holster under his shirt.

Brunker left the scene and was stopped a short while later in the McDaniel Drive area by Caddo Sheriff's Lt. Mark Terry. Brunker was arrested and booked into the Caddo Correctional Center by Terry and Deputies Eddie Thomas and Tammy Eiskina.
