The Junior League of Shreveport-Bossier and the Caddo Parish Sheriff's Office will hold a bicycle rodeo on Saturday, April 18, at Sheriff's Safety Town.

The event starts at 10 a.m. and is open to all children in grades one through five. Safety Town is located at 8910 Jewella Avenue behind Summer Grove Baptist Church.

There is no charge to attend the rodeo, but children must bring their own bikes.

Deputies will use fun activities to teach children proper bike safety and riding skills. Parents can also benefit from this event by learning safe riding habits to reinforce at home.
