The Caddo/Shreveport Narcotics Unit executed an arrest warrant at 3650 Rusty Road in Shreveport on Friday, April 18, and arrested a father and son.

Christopher Medlin, 39, and his father, Leslie Gene Medlin, 57, were both arrested on drug charges.  Both admitted to "doctor shopping" (visiting multiple physicians each month and obtaining prescriptions from each physician, then taking the different prescriptions to various pharmacies to have them filled).

Inside the house, agents located 1196 Methadone tablets, 64 Diazepam tablets, 8 Hydrocodone tablets, 2 handguns, and 5 rifles.

Christopher Medlin was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute schedule II CDS, obtaining CDS by fraud, and being a convicted felon in possession of a firearm.

Leslie Gene Medlin was arrested and charged with possession with the intent to distribute schedule II CDS and obtaining CDS by fraud.

Both were booked in at the Caddo Correctional Center.
