Graduation exercises for the 48th basic training class of the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy will take place at 4 pm, November 5, at Calvary Baptist Church, 9333 Linwood Avenue in Shreveport.
Eight agencies will be represented when graduates take the oath of office, receive their badges, and participate in a special badge pinning ceremony.
Class participants received 536 hours or more of peace officer training in areas including law, patrol activities, traffic services, report writing, investigations, firearms, first aid, and criminal justice.
Graduates are: Claire Anderson, Veronica Broadway, Gregory Duval, Darren Easterly, Steven May, Amber Meshell, Michael Rocco, Walter Tengey, Shankeitha Thomas, Tyler Vincent, and Montrell Ware, Caddo Sheriff’s Office; Samuel Beason, Trevor Beason, and Adam Nelson, Sabine Sheriff’s Office; Brenden Meade, Desoto Sheriff’s Office; Darryl Jordan, Red River Sheriff’s Office; Damian Christian, Camp Minden Military Police; Amadeus Marquez, State Fire Marshal’s Office; Ashley Fredieu, Office of Juvenile Justice; and Brennan Jones, Florien Police Department.
Due to social distancing and limited space, attendance is by invitation only. The program will be live streamed on the CPSO Facebook page for those who will not be able to attend.
