New option for paying Caddo property taxes

Caddo Parish property owners who pay their taxes online now have the option of paying by check in addition to credit card or PayPal.

Using this new payment option will incur a convenience fee of either $2 or $5, depending on the amount of your tax bill. The fee is for paying with a check ONLINE ONLY. Checks mailed or delivered in person incur no fee. Property owners can also pay online with a credit card or PayPal for a 3 percent convenience fee. Online payment options can be accessed by visiting the Sheriff’s Office website at caddosheriff.org and clicking on the TAX tab at the top of the page.

Other options for payment are:

  • By phone at 833-538-8539, 3 percent fee;
  • In person at the Caddo Parish Courthouse, 501 Texas Street, no fee. Office hours are 8:30 a.m. until 5 p.m., Monday through Friday. Anyone visiting the Courthouse must wear a mask and will have their temperature checked.
  • By mail, no fee. Payment must be postmarked by Dec. 31 or it will be considered delinquent.
