A crash involving a motorcycle and a pickup in north Caddo Parish sent one person to the hospital on Tuesday.

Caddo sheriff’s deputies say a Nissan pickup driven by Marc Weddleton, 43, of Mooringsport, was eastbound on McLeod Road when Weddleton attempted a left turn, crossing the lane of oncoming traffic and turning in front of a westbound Harley Davidson motorcycle. The motorcycle struck the right side of the pickup.

The driver of the motorcycle, Jeffrey Webb, 45, of Mira, was airlifted to LSU Health Sciences Center with non-life threatening injuries. There were no injuries to anyone in the truck.

The accident remains under investigation by the Sheriff’s Traffic Safety Unit.
