Caddo deputies shutdown a section of Keithville-Keatchie Road just south of Booker Road in Keithville as they investigate a major crash involving an 18-wheeler, said Sheriff Steve Prator.

Just before 2:30 p.m. on Wednesday, patrol deputies responded to a crash involving an overturned 18-wheeler carrying approximately 4,000 pounds of raw sewage. According to the initial investigation, the big rig was heading south when the driver lost control and flipped over.

The Caddo Fire District also responded and transported the driver to the hospital. 

The road will remain closed until truck is towed.
