Two men were arrested this morning for tasing a 12-year-old boy with a home-made taser, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator.

Justin Medlin, 20, was arrested around 8:30 a.m. at a relative’s residence on Old Mooringsport Latex Road. A short while later, deputies arrested Joseph Brock, 19, at his residence in the 3600 block of Rusty Road. 

Caddo Sheriff’s Deputy Chad Davis booked both men into Caddo Correctional Center for cruelty to a juvenile. 

The victim told deputies that he was visiting a friend Tuesday evening when Brock and Medlin, who were at the house, tased him with a device constructed from a camera and paper clips. The boy said Medlin challenged Brock to “hit” him (the juvenile) with the taser. Medlin then held the boy down while Brock tased him, according to the boy. 

The boy received two puncture marks on his hip, but he did not require medical attention.
