Caddo deputies arrested a Shreveport man for threatening his girlfriend with a knife.

Renaldo Franklin, 33, was arrested for aggravated assault and domestic battery. He was booked into the Caddo Correctional Center by Sheriff’s Cpl. Kevin Stewart.

Michelle Barrett, 24, told deputies that she and Franklin got into an argument while he was moving out of their residence in the 4400 block of North Lakeshore. During the altercation, Franklin pulled her hair and produced a knife while swinging it in her direction, Barrett said.  

Barrett was not injured. Franklin left the scene but was arrested when he returned a short while later.
