Meth ingredients found in Rodessa home; three people arrested

Three people were arrested Tuesday night after they were found to be in possession of chemicals and equipment used to make meth, said Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator and Shreveport Police Chief Henry Whitehorn.

Agents with the Caddo-Shreveport Narcotics Task Force went to a residence in the 17000 block of Cypress Street in Rodessa in reference to a narcotics-related complaint. In the home, they found lithium batteries, approximately 165 Psudoephedrine tablets, fertilizer, tubing, and other items needed to construct a meth lab.

Agents arrested Joe Charles Taylor, 43, of the same address. Also arrested were Angelia Holden, 36, of the 11000 block of French Road in Rodessa and George Adams, 26, of the 14000 block of Old Atlanta Road in Vivian. All were booked into the Caddo Correctional Center for possession of over 12 grams of Psudoephedrine and possession of a clandestine lab. Adams was also charged with possession of marijuana.

The suspects said they collected the ingredients from various stores in Louisiana and Texas and planned to deliver them to someone else to help establish a lab.
