Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator announces that applications are still being accepted for this summer’s Caddo Sheriff's Camp.

The overnight camp for boys ages 9-12 will be held at Kinsey Scout Reservation June 11-14. It is conducted by the Sheriff’s Office and the Boy Scouts of America, Norwela Council.

The camp introduces scouting to Caddo Parish boys who may not otherwise have an opportunity to attend summer camp. Campers participate in outdoor activities such as swimming, archery, marksmanship, and work on developing leadership skills.

Transportation to and from camp is provided, and funding is made possible through citizen donations. Go to the Boy Scouts Office at 3508 Beverly Place or call the Scouting office at (318) 868-2774.
