Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator promoted two deputies in a ceremony this morning at Government Plaza. 

Sergeants Carlos Walker and Zachery Thomas were promoted to security lieutenants for the Caddo Correctional Center.

Walker is a 23-year veteran with the Sheriff’s Office. He began his career in 1999, working in security. He was promoted and transferred to narcotics in 2004. He returned to security in 2009 and was promoted to sergeant in 2016. 

Thomas has been working with the Sheriff’s Office for 13 years. He has worked his entire career at the Caddo Correctional Center. He was promoted to sergeant in 2016. 

Sheriff Prator thanked the deputies for their years of dedicated service to the Caddo Sheriff’s Office and congratulated them on their well-earned promotions.
