Caddo Sheriff Steve Prator promoted two employees working in the finance department during a ceremony Tuesday morning at Government Plaza.  

Diana Crawford was promoted to finance director, and Trixie Barker was promoted to finance manager for the Sheriff's Office. 

Crawford is a 26-year veteran with the Sheriff’s Office. She began her career in 1997, working in the tax department under Sheriff Don Hathaway. She transferred to the accounting department in 2009 and was promoted to finance manager by Sheriff Prator in 2020.  

Barker has worked for the Sheriff’s Office for more than nine years.  She worked for one year in the fines and bonds office before transferring to the accounting department.  

Sheriff Prator praised Crawford and Barker’s work, which includes overseeing the Sheriff’s Office budget, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and department assets. “I am sure you will continue to do outstanding work for the Caddo Sheriff’s Office,” he said.
