Graduation exercises for the 55th basic training class of the Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Regional Training Academy will take place at 4 p.m., November 9, 2023, at Calvary Baptist Church, 9333 Linwood Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71106. Sheriff Jayson Richardson of the Desoto Parish Sheriff’s Office will be the guest speaker. 

Eleven agencies will be represented when graduates take the oath of office, receive their badges, and participate in a special ceremony where family and friends assist them with pinning on their badges for the first time. 

Class participants received 502 hours or more of peace officer training in areas including law, patrol activities, traffic services, report writing, investigations, firearms, first aid, and criminal justice. 

Graduates are: Logan Bostic, Shanice Brown, Kalyn Carter, Tynesha Cole, Logan Fontenot, Matthew Johnson, Penny Lane, Katherine McCollister, Lavelle Mitchell, Carl Moody II, Alisha Scott, Jasmine T. Thomas, Nya Walter, Marlo Williams Jr., Tyekia Willis, Dynesha Wilson, Brittney Young, and Jalisa Young, Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office; Desmond Ford, Daniel Huff, Camp Minden Force Protection; Makeal Williams, Desoto Parish Sheriff’s Office; Jumarca Broadway, Louisiana State University Health Science Center; Paige Fretwell, and Samantha McLain, Office of Juvenile Justice; Timothy Bolyer, Kevin Broadway, and Morgyn Payne, Red River Parish Sheriff’s Office; Jaiden Hunter, Ringgold Police Department; Michael Wilson, Sabine Parish Sheriff’s Office; Christopher Madonna, Webster Parish Sheriff’s Office; Auston Bliss, Zwolle Police Department and Anjel Jaurides, Blanchard Police Department.
