A road closure is in effect on LA 169 between Haygood Rd and Hwy. 71.  

Caddo Parish Sheriff's deputies responded to a minor accident involving an 18-wheeler tanker carrying hazardous chemicals early this morning. The tanker flipped on its side, causing chemical spillage on the road. Officials are in the process of containing the spill.

CPSO contacted the Louisiana State Police Haz Mat Hotline, and the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality will take over the investigation and mitigation.
