Caddo deputies arrested a Vivian woman for aggravated assault with a firearm and aggravated criminal property damage.

Connie Fitzgerald, 38, of Gator Hole Road, was arrested following an investigation by Sheriff's Detective Donnie Laney.

Fitzgerald is accused of firing a handgun at a vehicle driven by 29-year-old Jason Whatley in February. Whatley and another man were following Fitzgerald's son on Gator Hole Road after an argument. Fitzgerald told his mother about the argument and she intervened, firing at Whatley's vehicle. No one was injured and no damage was done, but Fitzgerald is also accused of ramming Whatley's car with her SUV.

Laney said deputies are looking for one other suspect who was with Fitzgerald and may also have been firing a gun at Whatley's vehicle.
