The Caddo Parish Sheriff’s Office Youth Services Division conducted an operation targeting the sale of alcohol to minors this past weekend.

Sheriff Steve Prator said 48 Shreveport businesses were visited by deputies on Saturday. Ten of the businesses sold alcohol to buyers under the age of 21.

The following are the businesses where purchases were made and the names of the people cited for unlawful sales to persons under 21:

1. Walmart, 9550 Mansfield Road, arrested: Jaleesa Bellow, DOB 10-30-88;
2. C & C Liquor, 5130 Broadway, arrested: Carlin Robertson, 10-29-69;
3. Valero, 4025 Jewella, arrested: Rickeen Moore, 7-9-86;
4. Tony's Citgo, 9330 Ellerbe, arrested: Carla Cox, 11-22-58;
5. Target, 7110 Youree, arrested: Donald T. Ashley, 3-1-89;
6. Tony’s Liquor, 6241 Line, arrested: Dennis Basco, 3-9-61;
7. Circle K, 762 Pierremont, arrested: Loreal Singleton, 10-18-89;
8. County Market, North Market, arrested: Jessica Vailes, 4-4-91;
9. Thrifty Liquor, 1288 N. Market, arrested: Christopher Shaw, 9-18-80; and
10. Walmart, 1125 Shreveport-Barksdale Hwy., arrested: Brenda Alexander, 9-14-66.  

The Sheriff said more underage operations will be conducted by the Youth Services Division. Any employee who sells alcohol to a person under the age of 21 will be arrested.
